Specialty coffee - delivered to your door

All our coffee is roasted at our own roastery in Copenhagen. We ensure that each batch receives the attention it deserves. Our beans are carefully selected and freshly roasted, ready for everything from your morning espresso to your weekend filter coffee. We offer fast delivery on all orders – directly to your door or nearest pick-up point.

When you buy coffee online, it should be easy. But that doesn't mean you have to compromise on taste. At Copenhagen Coffee Lab, it's about making it easy to enjoy good coffee – coffee that is full of flavor, responsibly grown, and freshly roasted. We only work with beans we believe in. They are grown under the right conditions, hand-picked with care, and delivered by producers we know and trust. From there, we take over – roasting each batch in Copenhagen with a focus on highlighting the unique characteristics from each country of origin.

Whether you prefer an intense espresso or a pour-over, we always strive to make every cup feel special.

Good coffee for espresso, filter, and French press

Coffee is not just coffee - and neither are your brewing methods. That's why we've put together a selection that suits different brewing methods. Whether you brew at home or in a professional setup, we have the beans to match.

In the shop, you'll find espresso beans with depth, body, and sweetness - perfect for milk drinks like lattes and cappuccinos or just a shot. We also have a wide selection of filter coffee with bright and clean notes - ideal for a Kalita Dripper or an AeroPress on the go. If you prefer French press coffee with a round, balanced taste and full mouthfeel, you can choose our ground beans, which we grind for you at our roastery before shipping your order.

You can order your coffee as whole beans or ground, to suit your method - espresso, filter or French press. Not sure which grind is right for you? Just ask - we're happy to help.

Organic and Fairtrade - coffee with a clear conscience

We believe that good coffee is more than just taste. That's why we offer a selection of organic and Fairtrade-certified coffees - so you can enjoy your cup knowing that it is made with respect for both people and the environment.

Organic coffee is grown without the use of artificial fertilizers or pesticides. This benefits biodiversity, protects the soil, and allows the coffee's natural character to shine through.

Fairtrade means that the farmers who grow the beans receive fair payment and work under better conditions. This strengthens the local community through education and healthcare, among other things.

When you choose coffee from Copenhagen Coffee Lab, you choose transparency, accountability, and sustainability all the way from the field to your cup.

The Taste of Central and South America

We source the majority of our beans from regions such as Honduras, Peru, Brazil, and Colombia – areas with proud traditions and a fantastic variety of flavour profiles.

It all begins at the farm, where coffee cherries are hand-picked when ripe. They are carefully sorted and processed – often on small, family-owned farms or in cooperatives.

Once the green beans arrive at our roastery in Copenhagen, we begin the roasting process. We develop individual roasting profiles that highlight the best of each origin – from the chocolatey depth of Brazilian coffee to the fruity freshness of beans from, for example, Peru or Kenya.

We believe in traceability, high quality, and strong, long-lasting relationships with our producers – because good coffee doesn't happen by chance.

How long does delivery take?

We usually ship within 1-2 business days. Orders are delivered via GLS.

Which coffee is best for my brewing method?

That depends on how you brew. Espresso machines work best with darker roasts, while drip and French press methods pair well with lighter roasts. Check out our brew guide for more tips.

Do you sell whole beans or ground coffee?

Both. You can choose whole beans or select "Ground" on the product page before adding the product to your cart. You can also find our Ground coffee here.

Is your coffee organic?

Yes, we offer a selection of organic coffee and many of our products are also Fairtrade certified.

What roasting style do you use?

Drawing on our many years of experience in the field, our roasters profile each batch according to its terroir, processing method, and brewing method, ensuring precise development of each batch so that no discovery of the roasting process can ever distract you from the true taste experience of the coffee. Together with our extensive daily quality control, this allows for dynamic and progressive roast profiling and a consistent product regardless of quantity.

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship to 25 European countries. Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden. You can read more about delivery and prices here. If you have any special delivery requests, please let us know.

How long do you recommend I use the coffee for?

If your bag remains unopened, the coffee will still taste fine for many months after roasting. Coffee deteriorates as it ages and loses some of its vibrancy. Remember to reseal the bag or use an alternative airtight container.

Resting time is an important aspect of coffee brewing, so be sure to experiment to find out how long you should wait after the roast date. For espresso, we recommend between 1 and 2 weeks of rest; for filter coffee, we can recommend a shorter rest period.
