General

All purchases made on https://copenhagencoffeelab.com are made with Copenhagen Coffee Lab ApS (CVR 40207929).

All prices include VAT and may be changed without notice.

We reserve the right to cancel orders without prior notice due to typographical errors, technical errors, changes in VAT and taxes, sold-out products or force majeure.

Payments

Debit cards are the safest form of payment online. As a consumer, you are protected against fraud and non-delivery. You will always be able to request a refund of the amount paid. In the event of a dispute, the amount will be withheld by your bank until any court ruling has resolved the dispute.

Payment by Credit Card

The amount will only be charged to your card when the goods are collected or dispatched from Copenhagen Coffee Lab ApS. An amount greater than the one you approved for the purchase can never be charged.

Cancellation

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop with us.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you receive your item. If you have ordered several different items in one order, but they are delivered separately, the period runs from the day on which you receive the last item. If the order consists of several lots or parts, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you receive the last lot or the last part. This means that you have 14 days from receipt to notify us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase. You cannot withdraw from the purchase by refusing to receive the item without also notifying us.

If you have purchased several items from us, you may return one or more items, even if they were purchased in a single order.

If your country is missing from the list, please contact us at webshop@cphcoffeelab.com, and we will assess whether we can ship to your country.

Returns

Right of Withdrawal

Under Danish law, food products such as coffee and tea cannot be returned, as these goods are not suitable for resale for hygiene and quality reasons.

Other products may be returned within 14 days from the date of delivery, provided that they are returned unused and in their original packaging.

During the withdrawal period, you are responsible for handling the goods with due care. You are responsible for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, and which makes the goods unsuitable for resale.

Refund in the Event of Valid Withdrawal

If you withdraw from your purchase in accordance with the conditions above, we will refund the payment for the returned goods.

We will also refund standard delivery costs. However, the following costs are not refundable:

  • Additional delivery costs incurred if you choose a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery option we offer
  • Return shipping costs

Refunds will be made within 14 days from the day we receive your notice of withdrawal. We reserve the right to withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided documentation that the goods have been returned.

Uncollected Parcels / Return Shipments

If an order is not collected from a parcel shop or is returned to us due to failed delivery, this does not constitute a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal.

Food products such as coffee and tea are not refundable in the event of non-collection.

In such cases, we offer to resend the order against payment of a new shipping fee.

For non-food products, a refund of the product price may be agreed. Shipping costs are not refundable.

The customer bears responsibility for the goods from the time of dispatch until delivery or collection has taken place.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange for another product, you must create and place a new order for the desired product(s). Send the returned product(s) to us as soon as possible to avoid the desired product(s) selling out. Please notify us by sending an email to webshop@cphcoffeelab.com.

Subscription Terms at Copenhagen Coffee Lab

General
When creating a subscription with Copenhagen Coffee Lab, these subscription terms apply as a supplement to our general terms and conditions:

Coffee subscriptions can be created at www.cphcoffeelab.com.

When you create a subscription with Copenhagen Coffee Lab, you consent to us delivering the selected products in the quantity and at the delivery interval you selected when setting up the subscription. Payment for each delivery is charged automatically via the payment card you have registered.

Subscription Types
At Copenhagen Coffee Lab, you can tailor your subscription to suit your preferences. You choose the coffee type, quantity and how often the coffee should be delivered.

Prices and Products
Information about the coffees that may be included in the subscription can be found on the individual product pages. All prices are stated in DKK or EUR and include VAT and duties.

Shipping costs for subscriptions are covered by Copenhagen Coffee Lab.

Copenhagen Coffee Lab reserves the right to change prices, discounts, delivery terms and product range. Any significant changes will be communicated before the next billing date, so that you have the opportunity to change or cancel your subscription.

Payment
Payment is charged automatically via the payment card you registered when setting up the subscription.

If the payment cannot be completed, delivery may be paused until payment has been completed or the payment details have been updated.

Changing a Subscription
You can change your subscription, including coffee type, quantity, delivery interval, delivery address and payment details, by contacting us at webshop@cphcoffeelab.com.

Changes must be made no later than 7 days before the next scheduled billing or dispatch date in order to apply to the upcoming delivery.

Cancelling a Subscription
There is no minimum subscription period for our subscriptions. You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at webshop@cphcoffeelab.com.

The cancellation takes effect from the next billing date, provided that the cancellation is received no later than 7 days before the next scheduled billing or dispatch date.

If the cancellation is received after this deadline, the already scheduled delivery may be completed and charged, after which the subscription will end.

Delivery
Delivery is made via Copenhagen Coffee Lab’s selected shipping partners in Denmark and internationally.

For international deliveries, shipping companies may use subcontractors and local distributors.

Your order is dispatched from our roastery in Copenhagen within 1–2 business days after completed payment, unless otherwise stated when setting up the subscription.

We aim to respond to your inquiry as quickly as possible.

Sales and Delivery Terms for Business Customers (B2B)

The following terms apply as a supplement to Copenhagen Coffee Lab’s general terms and conditions for purchases made by business customers via Copenhagen Coffee Lab’s B2B/wholesale platform, direct order or other business agreement. The terms apply exclusively to registered business customers.

  1. Creation of Business Account and Customer Responsibility

Purchases as a business customer require an approved business account with Copenhagen Coffee Lab.

The company is responsible for ensuring that all information regarding contact person, billing, delivery and other account details is correct and up to date at all times.

Copenhagen Coffee Lab cannot be held responsible for delayed or failed deliveries resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by the customer.

Copenhagen Coffee Lab reserves the right to reject or close business accounts in the event of breach of terms, non-payment or suspected misuse.

  1. Ordering and Conclusion of Agreement

When an order is placed, the customer receives an order confirmation by email. The order confirmation is only a receipt for receipt of the order and does not constitute binding acceptance.

A binding agreement between the customer and Copenhagen Coffee Lab is only considered concluded when the order has been dispatched and the customer has received confirmation thereof.

The agreement only includes the goods stated in the final delivery or dispatch confirmation.

Copenhagen Coffee Lab reserves the right to cancel or reject orders without notice in the event of:

  • typing or pricing errors,
  • technical errors,
  • sold-out products,
  • delivery problems with subcontractors,
  • force majeure or other circumstances beyond Copenhagen Coffee Lab’s control.
  1. Prices and Payment

All prices are stated including VAT on the B2B page, unless otherwise stated. Prices excluding VAT are stated on the invoice.

Copenhagen Coffee Lab accepts payment by invoice subject to prior agreement and approval.

Payment terms are stated on the individual invoice or in a separate cooperation agreement between the customer and Copenhagen Coffee Lab.

In the event of late payment, Copenhagen Coffee Lab reserves the right to:

  • charge interest and fees in accordance with applicable legislation,
  • withhold future deliveries,
  • suspend the customer’s business account or cooperation until outstanding payment has been received.
  1. Delivery and Shipping

Delivery is made via Copenhagen Coffee Lab’s selected shipping partners in Denmark and internationally.

For international deliveries, shipping companies may use subcontractors and local distributors.

Stated delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on destination, carrier and external circumstances. The delivery time is therefore not guaranteed.

The risk for the goods passes to the customer upon handover to the carrier.

If delivery cannot be completed due to circumstances attributable to the customer, Copenhagen Coffee Lab may charge for redelivery.

  1. Returns, Complaints and Uncollected Parcels

Food products, including coffee, cannot generally be returned or refunded under applicable Danish law.

Other goods such as brewing equipment, merchandise and accessories may be returned within 14 days after receipt, provided that:

  • the item is unused,
  • the item is in its original packaging,
  • the item is returned in saleable condition.

Return costs are borne by the customer.

Parcels that are returned or not collected are stored for up to 14 days. Reshipment may take place against payment of a new shipping cost.

If Copenhagen Coffee Lab does not receive instructions from the customer within 14 days after return, Copenhagen Coffee Lab reserves the right to cancel the order without further liability.

The customer is obliged to inspect the delivery upon receipt and complain about any defects or deficiencies within a reasonable time.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Copenhagen Coffee Lab is not liable for indirect losses or consequential damages, including operating losses, loss of profit, loss of data or other financial consequential losses.

Copenhagen Coffee Lab’s total liability is in all cases limited to the value of the specific order.

  1. Force Majeure

Copenhagen Coffee Lab is not liable for delays or non-performance resulting from circumstances beyond Copenhagen Coffee Lab’s reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, transport disruptions, system failures or government intervention.

  1. Processing of Personal Data (GDPR)

Copenhagen Coffee Lab processes relevant personal and company information in connection with order processing, delivery, bookkeeping, customer service and statutory matters.

Information may be shared with relevant partners and data processors such as shipping companies, payment providers, accounting systems and public authorities where required by law.

Information is stored in accordance with applicable Danish legislation, including the Danish Bookkeeping Act, and is generally stored for up to 5 years.

The customer has the right to access, rectification and deletion of personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Complaints

If, as a consumer, you wish to complain about your purchase, you can contact us via the webshop. If we are unable to find a solution, you may submit a complaint to:

Sold-Out Products

If an item is sold out or unavailable, we will, where possible, replace it with a corresponding item if the alternative is identical to the original item. In cases where the item cannot immediately be replaced with a corresponding item, you will receive an email in which you can choose whether you want us to try to obtain the item, which will mean that the order is postponed. You can also choose whether to accept the missing item and have us send the rest of the order, or whether you want to cancel the order entirely.

If the order was placed with payment by credit card, and the item cannot be delivered and no alternative can be found, we will deliver the rest of the order and only charge the credit card for the amount corresponding to the delivered goods.

Misuse or Hacking

In the event of misuse or hacking of the webshop, we reserve the right to cancel orders and related deliveries.
