Copenhagen Coffee Lab is a handcrafted coffee roastery, wholesaler, cafe, and bakery chain, founded in Copenhagen in 2013. Since 2013, we have marked our presence in Denmark and throughout Europe with 50 cafes in Denmark, Germany, France, and Portugal. We are seeking an energetic and motivated Store Manager to lead our cafe operations and inspire a team of talented individuals.

Responsibilities
- Lead by example, provide exceptional guest service, and set high standards for your team.
- Oversee all cafe operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Recruit, train, and motivate staff, fostering their career growth and providing ongoing support.
- Ensure overall employee performance and individual development, including sales knowledge and customer relations.
- Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, ensuring consistency.
- Coordinate work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage across shifts and stepping in when necessary.
- Act as a liaison between the cafe and other departments, relaying vital information to the team.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions to optimize store performance.
- Develop and implement store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Manage vendor relationships, including inventory control and ordering necessary supplies.
- Adhere to financial procedures, ensuring responsible money management.
- Maintain a clean and orderly cafe environment, including regular equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and food control regulations, prioritizing hygiene and safety protocols.
- Hold regular meetings with cafe staff to foster communication and team engagement.
- Attend cluster meetings and participate in weekly 1-on-1 meetings with the District Manager.
- Administrative tasks: While the majority of your time will be spent on the shop floor, it's crucial for the Store Manager to handle administrative tasks efficiently. This may include inventory management, scheduling, analyzing sales reports, and implementing strategies to meet sales targets.
Note: Administrative work should not exceed 20% of the total work time to maintain a balance between shop floor responsibilities and managerial duties. Additionally, as part of this role, the Store Manager is required to work every other weekend and undertake one opening and one closing shift per week to ensure smooth shop operation and support the team's needs.
Qualifications
- German and English language skills at a conversational and working level.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of managing teams and the ability to train and develop staff.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP standards.
